Charity Pairs

Charity Pairs Day is California Bowls Clubs annual fun day bowler and non bowlers doing their bit for Charity in a Pairs event. First run in 1986 and has been a fixture in our calendar ever since with £1000's of pounds donated to our chosen Charities.

 

 Charity Pairs Day 2026 saw a field of  "bowlers & non bowlers" for a fun day in aid of a good cause. Thanks to all who bowled, Lee & Teresa Powell for their sponsorship, to the spectators, to those who provided & sold cakes etc, to the BBQ crew, to those who brought draw prizes & tickets, manned the desk, readied the green, all manor of other things and finally to Ian Page who pulls all the strings together, without you all, the excellent sum of £700 raised could not have been possible.

The Charity beneficiaries for 2026 are Ambulance Station Fund & Ipswich Dementia Action Alliance.      The winners & runner up pictured below were winners Hannah Brooks & Rachel Edwards with runners up Debbie Allum & Paul Southall.
